TV Series discussion [NO SPOILERS]

this weeks TWD ........ blah blah blah.

Moving on - Battle Creek and Secrets And Lies both seem pretty decent. Will watch what they dish up in the next week or two and take it from there.
 
So its safe to assume [MENTION=5134]MalicE[/MENTION] has read the comics! Why you no chat in the comics thread :-(

This weeks episode was pretty chilled... gona be interesting to see how they end the season off, coz I can think of 2 options...

Anyone watched getting away with murder? A mate at work has recommended it...

While I LOVE the show, and am pretty far in the comics (few issues after AOW), I'm a little apprehensive about Lucille and Co. With the way they watered down the guvnah in the end, I can see them doing the same there, and that just wouldn't feel right.

I was actually thinking the same thing. They won't be able to make you know who swear like he does in the books :p

I tried watching getting away with murder [MENTION=13244]Tom[/MENTION], I just couldnt get into it. I do think someone else here watches it and likes it.

I dont think its going to be that appealing to me, but the Mrs likes that kind of stuff... I shall report back ;)

yeah cause only one of my mates have actually read the books so I don't really have anybody to talk to :(
 
Watching Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Already into 3rd season, I find it less action packed than The Original Series, lack of regular Red Shirts and comparatively little body count. Still wondering why away team first to land, should consist of essential commanding personnel? And it never teaches them every time...
 
Just watched Walking Dead ep 12 (I know, we're about a week behind, but the missus and I have our routine of watching it saturday night, screw you :P) and I gotta say...I'm rather disappointed...in everyone on here that was saying it was a "slow" episode or not much happening. Holy crap people, just because

nobody dies or a herd attacks
now doesn't mean nothing happens. BIIIIG things are happening, even people unfamiliar with the comic should be able to see that!

Every episode makes me love this show more and more

Watched "The A-Team" (the one from 80's).
The kind of action I like, but lack of bodies make it uninteresting.

yeah since I read the books my brain has gone into overdrive trying to figure out how they are going to pull it off

A FUCKING 86! and then he's so chuffed that he outran a naturally aspirated 2.0 litre car. he might as well have diced a Corolla :mad:
