TV Series discussion [NO SPOILERS]

New Walking Dead was good, if a bit slow compared to last week's awesome episode, although there were moments that really make me wonder whether the characters will ever learn from their mistakes. There was also an interesting development, character-wise... which I did not see coming at all.

I sort of saw it coming because she was really the only option if you consider the comic books... Them killing off Andrea in the TV show was definitely necessary because if i saw that retard in another episode i might have shot myself... But they really ruined Andrea's character with poor actor selection in my opinion...

The bit with the truck made me so annoyed it was ridiculous... Why does stuff like that even get written into the show...

I actually liked Andrea... was sad to see her go even if her character arc could've been a little better. But then I've not read the comics.

But yeah, that truck bit. Annoyingly stupid decisions were made.

I actually liked Andrea...

Brendan brendan brendan... Never before... Have you disappointed... Like right now...

lol, just kidding but seriously, if you read the comics, Andrea is like on of the most awesome characters, and they destroyed that in the show... It was really disappointing to see how low she fell... And it was almost like they killed her off because of the community backlash...

So been having a discussion with the dudes at work about Arrow.. Does Damian dark know that Oliver is the green arrow? I think not but everyone here disagrees... :?

My take is that I am not sure who does NOT know who the Green Arrow is. There were some episodes I thought that he might as well just leave his mask and go as Oliver Queen. That is just my opinion though.

Well the latest episode cleared up this question XD

JJ Abrams-Produced Sci-fi Show Westworld Delayed Until 2017

Last year, the early trailer for HBO's big budget sci-fi show Westworld suggested that it could be the channel's next big genre hit, following the massive success of Game of Thrones. However, it has now been reported that the series has been pushed all the way to 2017, amid rumours of reshoots and creative conflicts.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has halted filming on the show, which is produced by JJ Abrams and overseen by Jonathan Nolan. Nolan created the hit show Person of Interest, as well as co-writing several of brother Christopher's movies, including The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar.

As THR notes, the late completion of scripts and delayed delivery of episodes led the subscription channel to postpone continued production until next month. The show was originally scheduled for a 2016 broadcast.

According the site's sources, HBO has "clashed" with Nolan over the ongoing production issues. In a statement, Nolan said: "In broadcast TV, it's been routine for us to write and shoot at the same time. This is a completely different animal. As we got closer to the final episodes, we realized we needed to take a break from shooting to catch up on writing."

Westworld is a re-imagining of the 1973 Michael Crichton movie of the same name, with a high-profile cast that includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, and Jeffrey Wright. Nolan has stated that part of his inspiration for the show case from video games such as Red Dead Redemption and BioShock.

Been enjoying a bit of a binge on the first season of Colony. 10th episode season finale is out this week.
Bit of dystopian near-future with an alien invasion having happened, people forced to live in walled areas called blocs by our new "hosts", and all overseen by the quasi-paramilitary Colony Transitional Authority made up of co-opted humans. It's got Josh Holloway from "Lost", Sarah Callies from "The Walking Dead", and Amanda Righetti from "The Mentalist" in it, and was renewed for a 2nd season last month. Definitely worth a watch.
