Yeah I think you can get Band of Brothers and The Pacific as a box set, don't know how many people have seen the Pacific, its the lesser known side story of band of Brothers focusing on the war in the Pacific.

I didn't really like The Pacific. It's not as good as Band of Brothers in my opinion. The characters weren't as well realised. I connected with the characters on some level in BoB, and that's one of the reasons why it's so memorable.

Yep! BoB was awesome, The Pacific was more documentary-style almost.

Both were better than most other shows of the same topic though...

Yeah I started watching The Pacific, got about 5 episodes in, and then stopped because of Diablo 3. Now watching BoB so that I can prepare myself for The Pacific.

I watched the first episode of World Without End, the sequel to The Pillars of the Earth. This miniseries tells a tale of the less romantic side of medieval life. It features more violence, treachery, and brutality than anything that comes to mind recently.

Apparently if you've read the book you'll hate it.

Sigh I haven't watched it yet because went jogging on Monday and Wednesday night, then on Tuesday I watched a movie. . .

Don't know if Grimm has been mentioned, but I'm kinda enjoying it. I'm about a week behind the DSTV schedule so don't know how it goes further into the series, but I'm liking it so far.
