Arya is the girl that's currently training with Syrio Forel. I think in the TV adaption she is 11? Everyone is about 2 years older than in the novels. The 13 year old is stuck up bitch Sansa, who also shows some nice character development as the series progresses. You haven't read the novels?
I was a bit worried that the series won't be able to keep the attention of most TV viewers because of the lack of action. I thought the tourney in King's Landing would be a much bigger event to entertain people, but I guess not. All I can say is that things will become even more tense in the next few eps, and I really can't wait.
Do you find the series comprehensible? I know there are a lot of characters and information that needs to be given for the story to progress and I feel they sometimes rush through it. All in all though, I'm happy with what they've done with my favourite series. Now I just can't wait for the next novel to be released.

i find it a bit confusing with the obvious massive backstory to it but its quite awesomely done hey. im biting nails for the next episode and every character seems to be developing well and seems it'll really come together and be super epic soon..
