If gods of the arena was bleak representation of blood and sand then vengeance is even less in that regard. Seems that (imho) only blood and sand was decent, really decent. Vengeance is but bonnie and clyde with talk and sex. sigh.

More apt is that it's 7th Heaven with dinosaurs. Your typical feel-good series where everyone shoots but nobody gets shot.
