Yea I know, I know I am about two years late :o
But I have just discovered Twitter :)
Its pretty cool, and its neat that I can use it to link with my blog.
Anyone here use it?

I'm sure there is....I though have not yet discovered it. I probably could, but I hardly use Facebook or any other social network apart from forums...so I'll probably suck at Twitter.
 
I once thought about joining Twitter but I didn't really see the point. I can see how it can be useful for some people but it's just not for me. :)

I'm sure there are others here who use Twitter.

I agree....also thought about it and failed to see the point...so I passed.
 
I dunno, I am already finding great use of it!
As an artist its hard to get yourself known and In one day Twitter has already gotten me some fame!
I have now been featured on 10and5.com which is the latest internet hotbuzz for local creatives.
Check it out its pretty cool if you are into art, dont know if they have added anything since mine, if so, I am the The Given Collective :)

Yes, a link would be good, I also wanna check it out.

I read that Facebook has a bigger following on and through Farmville than Twitter has subscribers, or something of that sort.

But I also just joined Twitter recently, I was visiting a helicopter operators website - www dot heli dot coza and that they were using twitter and i enjoy reading the articles posted by the owner who has also been published in various aviation magazines. In this way, if something new in the way or writing, photography or any news is announced, I get an alert. Apologies for stating the obvious.
So, if you find something / someone of interest, it makes sense, but not when its trying to be a 'lite' version of Facebook.

For those that use both FB and Twitter, I recently came across this seemingly useful application - Tweet Deck
It seems to integrate the two and keep you informed with whats happening in both through one interface, i'm not sure if its still in a beta stage though or if its any good.
 
Abev, where can one go to buy some of the shoes? There's a pair there that my girlfriend would love. :D I'm a bit broke but things are bound to change.

I dont use Facebook much, but the networking side of Twitter is proving itself fast for me.

I currently make each pair on a custom order basis.
So if you want a pair, then you tell me what your girlfriend is into, what colours she like and then I make them to order.
They are pretty expensive though as the process is not quick and the materials are expensive.

OK cool, I've added this page as a bookmark and will contact you when things are going better again money wise. Haha she would love personalized shoes! :D
