Ubisoft 25th birthday PSN sale

Even if I did still have a PS3, I'm not supporting Ubisoft ever again, no matter what.
They could be offering their whole catalogue for free, and I will still pirate it.
 
Interesting specials, i bought some of those things already and the rest not that interesting.

Their PC titles after Farcry 1 was just shit all the way through... the DRM... and now recently, piracy is the cause for their bad sales figures?!

No, Ubisoft... it's because your games are shit. your DRM is shit. Stop blaming everyone but yourself...

I really have written them off completely.

Thanks for clearing that up... I understand the frustration with the PC DRM people complain about this all the time.

As for the games i know its your opinion, but did you not enjoy the Assassins Creed franchise a little atleast?

Regarding their sales figures, piracy doesnt sales to much, i know most people that buy after they play the pirate a little, I use to do that myself for a few years. If a game is rubbish even the pirates stay away from it... So they can blame piracy for a fraction of thier sales maybe but not the entire figure. As or some of thier games I will not defend Ubisoft cause they can also turn out crap from the studio... But their are some decent titles in the library.

And i am in no way trying to make you change your mind on them, at all, writing off a developer completely will leave you missing some gems along the way... If they make a few that you think you may have liked if you played them.
 
Only ones I was intrested in is PoP HD & Splinter Cell HD, both of which I can get cheaper off Amazon. :/

Not at all. Mostly because I bought the first one.
Installing it on my PC failed. Forever. Never worked. Got the disc replaced. Still no luck.
A patch became available FOUR MONTHS LATER... fixed the install problem, but still couldn't play. Texture corruption turned the entire game into a great wall of grass.
A patch for that became available a FURTHER THREE MONTHS LATER.

Needless to say that by then, I had lost all taste for the game and the entire franchise altogether...
