"it seems Ubisoft being overprotective of their interests may again hurt their final product."
It's an interesting view, and I guess only time will tell; but I have to say that I find their demands to be justified. The games are their product after all and no-one else's vision should interfere with their own creative vision. That said, I do hate it when companies (I'm looking at you BioWare) feel that their own vision is paramount. [spoiler alert] For instance if you chose to destroy the Urn of Sacred Ashes in DA:O; Leliana would choose to fight you. So you had to kill her; but then if you imported that character from DA:O to that festering pile of idiocy DA2, Leliana would remain alive! But that's an RPG where player choice is a huge element, AssCree is something else altogether. /rant
