Maybe. For me, I'm over it. I played Far Cry 3, then Blood Dragon which was more of the same and I'm not so sure I'd even be interested in FC4.
It reminds me of the way Ubisoft milked Assassin's Creed at one point. They introduced minimal new gameplay elements to the point where I didn't even finish Revelations because it was just assassin's creed 2.75.
Blood Dragon was awesome as well, so much fun. I'm just over run-of-the mill FPS games, I don't think I can stand another military/"realistic" FPS. These days if a FPS wants to keep my attention it has to have something different from the rest of the pack. For example: the leash in Bulletstorm, the melee combat in Shadow Warrior or anything in Borderlands that makes it Borderlands. FC4 seems to have that with the vehicles, different playstyles, Elephant riding, etc. and it looks like it will be a lot of fun.
I am a pretty huge AC fan (have finished all of the titles multiple times) and I can never agree that Ubi is milking it. IMO each game has had sufficient differences from the others to keep it interesting and to keep me engaged. Not one game in the franchise has not been fun to play for me and I will only stop buying them once they are no longer enjoyable to play. I know everybody says they are all the same, but I can see enough differences in each title to justify me buying them all. I also love exploring the different historic settings and I am really looking forward to exploring French Revolution Paris in Unity. Rogue will be the first game since AC2 that I don't get on release (getting Unity first) and Unity will be the first since AC2 that I don't get the CE for.
