How is it legal? The Ukraine is sovereign and has every right to overthrow it's government, it's a Ukrainian affair. And Russians in Ukraine are not in danger in anyway, so there's no need to protect anyone, by him taking the Crimean Peninsular he's causing more harm to Russian citizens than if he left it alone.

The West was ready to recognize Ukraine's new sovereignty, Russia went and fucked it up, their puppet is no longer in power.

Russia has been flying propaganda about Russian families being persecuted in Finland and that they need to intervene. They've been buying land all around Finnish military bases over the past few years, watch Russia pull the same stunt it's doing now with Ukraine and Georgia before it.

It is legal because the government was elected legally. But all of it is an excuse to send troops and show Russia's strong arm.

Well considering I have friends who are Russian, I think I know quite a lot. (also a huge fan of war and war history)
They are not a super power anymore...Those days are long gone.

That said I don't want it to turn into a war, no one wants that..except maybe Putin.

Well Considering that I have Russian family, I know a fair share myself. If they are adamant that nothing will come from Putin's pull to superpowerdom, you know they're lying and I guarantee they know so too.

In December last year Putin declared that Russia doesn't want to be a superpower as a claim to world and regional hegemony. Yet it's no secret he's been using his influence to regain standing with his former Soviet Satellites, pretty openly - Their foreign policy is almost insulting it's so obviously in place for power gain if they get shoved too hard.

Dismissing their potential to be a world threat due to an unstable economy fueled by a shrinking population of entrepreneurs and growing level of unqualified immigrants from their neighboring states is astoundingly naive.

That, the lower class of their population, is the power they've always held and they buy their allies with energy. If you know warfare as you claim, you'd know that in the least.

Did you see the palace their previous president built for himself with stolen money from his people and with money Russia paid him as a bribe? How is that legal at all?

I hear what you're saying, but by law they are independent, whether or not Russia let's them know what "independence" is.

Any war in The Ukraine will spiral out of control if the West intervenes. I don't think that will happen, sadly, I think Ukraine will become occupied as the West do not want to risk a war with Russia.

You forget one thing...War costs money...Russia has no money...Even you just admitted it.
A war of arbitration will destroy Russia. They simply do not have the money, the soldiers or equipment to last.

All I have to say if Ukraine wants independence Then russia does not need to supply them with resources.

And On my PRmc forum they even admit that russia might beat england if they had to invade.
