So I just bought Dante's Inferno Death Edition from Musica @ Zevenwaght Mall this evening.

Whats so special about that....

I paid R99 for it.

Idiots had it labeled as R99 instead of the R650 it is marked at on the registry.

not to rain on your parade, but last time i checked this title had a considerable price drop anyways, still i suppose that was the normal edition and R99 not so bad, then again it's bit of an oldie by now :D

Well when the chic rang it up Register said R650 but since both demo cases where marked R99 I got it at that price. Had it been the regular old edition it wouldn't have been a big deal, but the Death edition for that price is pretty Sweet.
 
I got my copy of AoM:Gold Edition for R99 when it was supposed to be marked for R199 - but the tag said R99. I had R300 to spend that day so I spent the rest on Flight Simulator. Was a few years back, so 2002 edition I think. Anyway, nice save you got there!
 
Nope. :) Especially Musica. I went to V&A store, got the complete Blue Planet DVDs for R149 (supposed to be R649). The manager said I was "lucky". Went back a two days later and got Simpsons Season 10 for R99 (supposed to be R399) ... so obviously the fact that his staff was marking stuff incorrectly didn't bother him that much. Their loss, not mine.
 
Dantes inferno has been on sale since middle of Dec2010.....nothing special here

I know it was on special, their cash register and their stock computer had the Death Edition marked as R650. So whether it was their fail filled computer or some idiot with a labelgun I dunno or care. I you go there today, with any luck, they changed the label back to R650.
 
I had that when I bought Crysis from CNA. They had the special edition and the normal edition both going for R250. It was about a week after it had just released!
 
I got the normal edition of Dante's for PS3 for R149 about 4 weeks back, also at a Musica. These weren't incorrectly marked though, was on the specials shelve. But R99 for this is a bargain.
 
I had a similar experience, but at Incredible corruption!
It was a while back, just when need for speed carbon came out about a week after that I went to IC to get a copy.
The game was on the shelve took it to the cash register and noticed it's got a price tag on for R149. I'm like YES PLEASE!!!
Cashier told me R599 please, I just pointed at the tag and she went oh sorry, called the manager and I scored R450!
Wam Bam thank you mam!!! :)
