Undecided: 23" LED monitor or 24" LCD?

So I'm looking at getting a new screen maybe later today, to hook both my PC and PS3 to. I found two options, one being a Philips 23" LED screen and the other being a Samsung 24" LCD.

They are both the same spec's with the exception of size and the one being LED.

Should I go for the extra size or would the LED picture quality be more beneficial?

Are the resolutions and price about the same? If so I guess you could go with the LED. The picture quality should be a little better and you won't notice the 1" difference in size.

I recently kept a friend's 22" LED screen with me for safety, and I am currently on a 23" LCD. People praise LED screens a lot, but imo it really isn't that great. The difference isn't really big to begin with, and I honestly enjoyed my LCD more. If it was me, I'd go for the extra inch. But it comes down to your taste,so gtfo the basement to your nearest electronics store and compare some LED screens with some LCD ones :)

Too much money to spend based purely off of a couple of forumers' opinions.

Good to hear you are happy with it. I think that's what it mainly comes down to. I'm looking at a Dell U2410 for my next monitor coz a good TN gaming panel just didn't have the color and viewing angles I wanted for non-gaming purposes
