abandoned places amaze me. I don't know what it is about them. Two weeks ago I found an abandoned video studio, all this equipment from the 80's just gathering dust. Looks like the guys left work one day like any other day and then just never returned. Creep but cool.

Did you see that episode of Top Gear last week with all those abandoned places, including an airport, in Spain? Kept wondering if it was staged, actually. It was completely deserted.

I once got to walk around inside a house that was soon to be demolished, and it's amazing what people leave behind. Family photo albums, diaries, school yearbooks -- the things that should really matter, and they were just scattered all over the floor. Sad.
