So I thought this might be of interest to all the owners of the AMD radeon 6950 card:

It unlocks your card to the 6970 model as AMD have only disbled some cores on the 6950 model. They do this by BIOS locking which can easily be replaced with a BIOS to unlock the extra cards. From what I read on the page you don't need extra cooling as the card is exactly the same as the 6970 - cooling and all.
ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR BIOS BEFORE DOING FLASHIN EXPRIMENTS!
