I would like to know what you the community think of Spartan. I think he is a first class a-hole.

I don't think your issue about a status update on Xfire was entirely necessary, in fact, Spartan is right, there are more important things to do than sit around and wait for PM's over Xfire, one of those things is configuring our new Corporate Firewall, something that all iGame Staff are currently working on

If we forget to update status messages, I hardly regard that to warrant this type of attitide
You DAC guys have been causing MASSIVE issues on our servers for the past few Months, in fact most of your clanmates are banned, with this attitude, not hard to guess why

Your post also does nothing but enflame the situation, if you go look at our STCU, you will find that any type of abusive behaviour towards any iGame admin warrants immediate removal form the portal and its services

I just want to add that spartan is a good person.

He helped me with getting my bf 3 working.

I for one think the iGame team are good people.

People get busy thats life.

Technically i didnt call spartan a d**s, i said people would THINK that. Secondly, how hard is it to put xfire on AFK if u know u not at the pc. U guys have a job to do and if we know u are AFK we wont make a big deal out of it.

I have never abused your servers. I have swore on them before but never been abusive or or persistant about it. One time i ACIDENTALLY TK a guy and i get kicked by Spartan without prior warning. I stand by what i said, Spartan should learn to be respecfull to people and not be a smart a$$ or act like he is the president.
 
Not the first time a DAC player has caused issues with me.As Xero said I banned most of your clan already yet still you persist with this kind of attitude.And every time I hope it is the last.How many more must I ban before you quit?

I have removed you from my Xfire Contact list, iGame Admins are not around to take abuse or abusive attitude from any players, this includes you as well :)

And Mephisto...I have never even spoken to you, so please refrain from judging someone AFTER they were called that and AFTER a year or more of struggling with this group and the issues caused by them.

DO not presume to tell us what our jobs are, we work 20 Hour Days 7 Days a week, 365 Days a Year, updating status messages have nothing to do with our jobs

If you read your initial post and your reply, and you do not get that your attitude is uncalled for, there is nothing more I can say to you I'm afraid
All iGame Staff answer directly to me, so if you have a complaint about them, as stated in my first post, you can mail me directly, but , I will not hold an admin accountable for any status updates they missed while specifically tasked to do something by me

That is the official stance, now if you further enflame the situation, this includes ANY form of abusive behaviour towards any iGame admin, I will be forced to enforce our STCU which may or may not result in your removal from the iGame Portal
 
Regarding the status update, The least you can do is take it as a recommendation, which wouldnt do you any harm what so ever.
 
Tell me something, as a matter of interest, what was his status when you tried to contact him?
It should have been related to users not being able to connect due to the new Firewall filtering incorrectly reported Local IP Ranges?
Let me make this clear, again, this takes priority over Server Bookings and Status message updates
What you have done by your actions is escalate a situation completely out of context, without knowing HALF the information
Your little outburst, over Xfire and on the forums, asking the community if they agree about your feelings will do nothing to improve your relationship with the iGame admins
By your own admission you have a history with us, and while you can throw as many of these little temper tantrums as you wish, and post about them on our forum, you should be careful that the iGame admins do not put this into context by posting the full history of your actions on our servers and over Xfire towards our admins on the same forum

lol dude, on a personal note, you made such a big deal out of this and this wasn't necessary at all
It could all have been resolved rather amicably, instead, you felt the need to go this route and now can't contact Spartan to book anything and in the process you have just reminded every single iGame admin that you are a troublemaker, nothing more

Had no issues with iGame in the 4 years I am using there servers.

But I took an arrow to the knee last night :)
 
You downplay what i deem an issue to me. You can say all you want. Im not a trouble maker. I got kicked once by an igame admin or any admin for that matter. I dont hack and i respect all my fellow players on all the servers. I admit that i sometimes swear but im not the only one that is human. SPartan's status was set as "PM me if you have issues connecting to cod4 servers ". I didnt have server issues, i just wanted to book one. BTW, he replied about 2 hours or so later.
 
I do not see the need to further reply to this thread, you have failed to make a valid point throughout all of your posts, I have told you what the situation was, and still is
You either consistently fail to understand what I have stated clearly in my posts or you are willfully oblivious to a situation where you have done nothing but act in the exact same manner that you are accusing Spartan of acting
Let's see, how many times have you called him names in this thread alone?
(This is a retorical question, I can count, as can most of the Forumites)

Any further communications relating to this issue can be made via Email, although I can assure you that my stance on this will not change

Secondly, noone has time to update their status message with their exact whereabouts on all platforms. The only thing that would warrant this type of response is an instance of being blatantly ignored while he was sitting at his computer. This was not the case.

He is human as well, so he cannot do a thousand things at once and he doesnt have to be very nice about being called names and being attacked. In fact he didnt have the harsh response that some others would have had.

So stop trying to incite trouble and possibly apologise for your bad attitude. He is a person, not your servant. He is there to help, not take verbal abuse.

Also I am not an iGame representitive and have no connection to them. Just an observer.

No offense, scrapmetal dude/thing, but I don't see the issue as coming from Spartan's side. At all.

You PMed him, he didn't respond. This should have been enough of an indication that he's AFK. Anybody with half a brain would realize this without needing him to set a status update. Then you started being sarcastic and called him a doos (and saying people might THINK he is one is basically the same as calling him one, so don't try to change your tune here). It is quite understandable that he would get angry, as he does not need to take abuse in the form of sarcasm, or name-calling.

From this thread it seems you are just a standard online gamer who revels in causing trouble everywhere he goes, and and feels he is entitled to absolutely anything and everything. The fact that the =DAC= are known troublemakers just reinforces this point.

Honestly, the very fact that you see this as an issue from Spartan's side, and not yours, and the fact that you were so butthurt by it that you you had to come here to make a thread about it speaks volumes about you. It's downright pathetic and borderline idiotic. If I were the iGame team, I'd simply have banned you already, as you seem to be nothing but a troll.

@Spartan, I don't really frequent this type of forum (don't really have the time) but after seeing the initial conversation posted on the DAC forum I couldn't just let it be. (I have expressed my discontent regarding the inappropriate conduct from DAC members)

Years ago in my CoD4 days (long before clan life...lol), you assisted me with some problems I was having and I really appreciated it. I also know of several people that you went out of your way with great patience to help and sort out the problems etc. (FibreTek is my brother and I'm sure he'll agree). I have never had a bad experience with the iGame admins and I have great respect for you guys and what you do.

Therefore, I would like to apologise to all the iGame admins on behalf of =DAC= for any abuse/slander suffered from DAC members. I might only be an "officer" in DAC, but I find the fact that DAC members have been misbehaving and banned for such, very disappointing.

If possible, please mail me the names of the DAC members that have displayed misconduct in the past and/or recently. I would like to see the chats/posts if you still have record of it. The main aim would be to exercise some discipline where it is relevant (several ppl have left DAC) and to ensure that all DAC members conduct themselves in a worthy and courteous manner in future.
My email is always available and I would really appreciate it if you could mail me in the event that you're given lip by a DAC member ([email protected]).

Once I have all the relevant info, I will organise a DAC officer's meeting and a full discussion will be held regarding this matter. I know it's holiday time now, so don't feel obligated in anyway to send the info now, anytime in the new year when you have time will be perfect.

I'd like to wish all the admins and forumites alike a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Spartan has all of the chatlogs, including the logs of the issues with threats etc on him personally by DAC members

The thing is, and I'm being completely honest here, so bear with me
We do not bear grudges, once a player returns form a ban, like Scrapmetal, we treat him just like everyone else, but some of these players simply do not see it that way and continue to behave abusively towards admins
As an example, we banned a few DAC members for tk'ing
These bans were temp bans as the players who reported the issues submitted screenshots but we judged the tk'ing to only require 45 Minute Temporary Bans
The DAC players in question then proceeded to Threaten and act abusively towards both Spartan and Myself over Xfire, which resulted in a permanent removal from the iGame Portal (I have stated before and continue to do so, this type of behaviour will not be tolerated towards any of my staff)

Had these players, on logging their queries with us regarding their Temp Bans, simply said:
"Ok, sorry, yes I tk'd, I understand my removal etc" there would have been no issue
We are always leniant towards players WHEN THEY ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS

I am sure we can resolve the current situation amicably, we will be in contact with you and we can work together to sort this out
 
I appologise for calling Spartan a doos and douchebag. Every community is filled with bad apples and no organisation is perfect. Sometime this can even be attributed to mis communication or misunderstandings, sometimes not. I have been part of the DAC clan for about 11 months and everyone i have interacted with was always forthcoming, civil and polite. When we played cod4 clannies or in DGL the gents i was playing with always behaved. We have a lot of members and im only accounting for the ones i have played with. I think it is unfair to brand the clan a bunch of trouble makers since i honestly know that the guys ive been playing with were always stand up guys. You can brand me and the few guys you mention troublemakers and rude, i accept that but please dont let this overshadow what you think of the DAC clan.
