Seems like Steam is hitting the headlines more and more often. 25 Mil+ active subscribers, one of the largest (if not largest) game libraries, content servers around the world (including South Africa ), unbeatable weekly specials, receives the praises of indie devs for keeping them afloat, small profit margins meaning more revenue for the devs, free advertising of games to a massive audience of gamers and the most complete and integrated online experience available on PC.

Now, one of the most popular game engines adds direct support for the Steam development kit, Steamworks, at no extra cost to engine licensees. Considering the amount of games being pumped out utilizing the Unreal engine, this will be good news for PC gamers and Steam adopters. We should be seeing more Unreal based games finding their way to Steam and most of those more integrated with service.
