Unreal Tournament 3 iGame Server

sweeeeeeeeet. I'm keen to fail at this.

(I enjoy UT, but I really really reallllllllllllllllllllly suck)

neo, lees jou pm man!

Sweet. I've been meaning to get UT3, anyone know where I can still get it?

Mappy, the reason we suck at UT type games is 'cuz were stuck in CoD mode where high damage and accuracy tend to be more important, in UT, it's high rate of fire rules all, but I still like going for my sniper rifle. :)

The Weird thing is I used to Rock UT99 and UT2004, But really suck at UT3 :|

It's cuz were out of practice. 2004 I used to slaughter swarms of godlike AI all on my own, now I get squished if I try face more than 5 novice.

Trick is to get your aim consistent.

Run the game at a stable fps. I try to keep it at 90 since that's where it's capped by default online. Although you can do 120 if you set your connection type to LAN in the options menu.

Most important of all, disable mouse smoothing.

To get your frames at a stable rate go to folder "My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Config\UTEngine.ini"
Change the following:

[Engine.GameEngine]
bSmoothFrameRate=True
MinSmoothedFrameRate=0.000000
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=92.000000

Make sure Vsync is off.

The last thing you can do to improve your aim (if you have a super computer) is to tick the "disable one thread lag" box under your video options ingame.

After that you just need to play, although timing powerups etc is just as important.
