Upcoming Movie Trailers

That is the key word. 1? Awesome (could still tell you the story back to back). 2? I enjoyed it! Tokyo Drift? I loved it. The core theme is that as ridiculous as the story was, you could enjoy it when coupled with the amount and nature of the CAR action. Then came 4 which I could watch, but one could tell that the franchise had peaked with Tokyo Drift and it was going downhill. 5 shouldn't even bear the Fast and Furious title, seeing that it was a more pulp action flick with a lousy story rather than what makes the franchise a hit. As a stand alone movie, Fast 5 is watchable, but as an F&F movie it fails hard.

All in all I'm not really trying to be a hater, I'll even watch the trailer tonight to see what they've done, but I get angry only because of the love I had for these movies. I'm all for growth and evolution, but hitting a u-turn on things isn't usually a good idea. Also, milking is very apparent here:rolleyes:.

I've watched Fast Five so many times that I sometimes just wanna skip over the boring parts.

On a side note: Today; I watched the extended trailer at least 5 times, 'cause of showing it to classmates pretty much individually.
Everyone had pretty much the same reaction: "Yoooohhhhhh! Yoh bra, gotta watch that the same day it comes out". Quite hilarious! :D

Like I said, Fast 5 works as a stand alone title but not as a part of the franchise...

On another note I just watched the trailer:eek:, and this may be the one that brings me back to franchise (the trailer had more car action than the whole of Fast 5). Still an optimistic skeptic though:rolleyes:

Only car action in FF (technically) was them trying to beat the cameras and that vault scene. The rest was an action flick. I diverted from it's roots. People watch F&F for the racing and car chases, which, by the looks of things, this one will bring back.

[Edit]
On a side note...

My 1337 post count... :p

If you haven't seen this trailer you are missing out. A way to redefine zombie movies, looks awesome :D.
(In short, zombie falls in love with human)
