He was busy doing Star Wars I'd imagine, and they wanted to pump out another Star Trek movie, so they had to get another director.

Really excited about this. It doesnt look too toned down for younger audiences.

Now if only DC would be kind enough to counter this with a Lobo movie.

I know I am probably one of maybe three people that arent too fond of the recent superhero movies. I like the hero movie idea, just prefer them toned more like Sin City and The Watchmen (oh and Guardians, epic movie)....BUT, Deadpool looks satisfyingly different! Definitely going to see it!

Overall it's not a bad movie, it's not even a bad Star Wars movie (lets be honest nothing can be worse than Phantom Menace)

It's worth a watch, even if it's for nostalgic appeal (which was pulled off brilliantly). Let's hope that Episode 8 is more like Empire Strikes Back and less like Attack of the Clones

The first three are the best and I still watch them. I don't mind watching old movies with dated graphics and what not.
