Yes, this is a real movie. It's from Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the duo that gave us Vampires Suck, Disaster Movie and Meet the Spartans. Here's the official trailer for their forthcoming spoof of The Hunger Games titled The Starving Games (via production company Ketchup Entertainment):

The Starving Games follows Kantmiss, a young girl who lives in one of the poorest districts of a futuristic society. Chosen to participate in the Starving Games, a barbaricyearly competition where teenagers are pitted against one another in a brutal death match, she must fight and claw her way to survive.

The spoof also includes nods to Marvel's The Avengers, Sherlock Holmes, Avatar, The Expendables, and the Harry Potter saga.

The Starving Games is slated for Digital, DVD, and BluRay release on November 14. The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire opens theatrically November 22.
