I am a bit unsure about this, I loved the 2004 movie, Jim Carrey, carried (pun not intended) the role of Count Olaf so very well. I love those weird movies. While watching the trailer, I didnt at first saw it was Neil Patrick Harris that played Count Olaf, and the character felt a bit....flat. I am just judging from Jim's portrayal of the movie, I have not seen anything else about it. BUT, knowing Neil Patrick Harris, he is bound to add a lot to the character. Will keep an eye out for this.

ja NPR has very big shoes to fill. Too big I think. He'll have to make the character his own because trying to copy Jim will surely result in failure.

Exactly, very good point, rather then emulate, he should make it his own.

Sidenote, I watched Bruce Almighty and The Mask again in December, great movies, really miss Jim's crazy work.
 
Netflix buying some good stuff, and putting a lot of money into some excellent original stuff too.
