Help meeeh , I have some ideas but I'd love to hear what you guys think.
My current build is as follows:

MSI z87g43
i5 4430
Evga gtx 760 4gb FTW edition
4 x 4 DDR3 budget ram
Cm thunder 600w
1tb HDD
125gb ssd

Now what so you think I should do to improve this build?
Is it worth it now to go for a new mobo + CPU, or wait a while and get next gen?
Should I maybe look at getting a new board for SLI to future proof more?

Look forward to hearing what oukes have to say and why :)

Get a better GPU, then wait for Kaby Lake or Cannonlake to come and then do the CPU, RAM and mobo.

I agree with this. The GPU is your bottleneck here. I still game with an i5 and 16gb RAM but upgraded my GPU to a GTX970 and I play almost everything on its max/high settings.

:D @braaislaai, Will keep you in mind boet. It's a solid pairing but I would've loved to have an unlocked multiplier on my CPU. For now maybe over the new year the prices will drop a bit and I'll look at getting a GTX1070. Seems legit.

Sup guys now ineed some advice.Mostly on the cpu and then any input is whalecum too.

Thermaltake CA-1D9-00M6WN-00 Versa N21 Windowed White case
A10 7700k or A7470k cpu cant decide
Asus A88x plus mobo
Powercolor Rx480 8gb gpu red devil
Antec 750w modular psu
16gb corsair vengence black 1866 ddr3 ram
500gb ssd

Imjust baffeled by the cpu mostly and wondering about a possible bottleneck.

So no feedback. Eish the people are too grumpy these days

I have little experience with the Ax series of CPU's, so I was reserving my comment...do you mean the A6 7470k?

If so, those CPU's you mention could potentially be a bottleneck down the road, as they're the rough equivalent of the first-gen i7's I believe.

Also, might I ask why you going for a CPU with graphics capabalities if you're gonna slap a discrete card in there? Doesn't that disable it, or is there some sort of CrossFire setup you can do with your card...I dunno.

I don't see the point.

Me - Don't buy that processor, you'll have performance issues
Other person - You're such a fanboi
Other person - I have a xxx processor and it's running just fine
OP - Ok, I'm going the get the xxx processor

*** Months later ***

OP - I'm having weird lag in XXXX, can anyone help

Anways... rather spend a little more and get

CPU - Intel Core i5 6500 OR Intel Core i3 6100
MOBO - MSI H110M PRO-VD PLUS
etc etc

You can always upgrade past that point.

The thing is that huge architectural differences exist between AMD and Intel CPUs; This may or may not be an issue. The biggest problem is assuming that more cores = more performance, this is not always the case. But more GHz = more performance. Again, not always the case.

Ok thing is yesi am a fanboy and no with the card im getting i cand use the apu but i feel its a strong cpu. The 7470 is the newer chip from the kavari and thats why i was looking at it its got less cores but bit better preformance. I want to stay amd cos of the card. So what cpu would you suggest then without an apu. I havent thought much about that.

The only AMD processor I'll recommend at this stage is the FX-9590; But for the same price you can get roughly the same performance from an i5 6500

Drop the apu cpu and rather go for this? AMD Kaveri Athlon X4 880K, 4.00GHz, Quad Core, FM2+?

Don't buy into FM2+ (unless you really have to) Come January 2017 AMD is releasing ZEN which is AM4. AM4 replaces AM3/AM3+ and FM2+ sockets. You can wait for Zen or get an Intel Skylake CPU right now.

*Edit*
Just to add some more info/context

No one knows how it will perform as of yet. No real pricing/performance has been seen of known of.
Socket AM4 will support all of AMD's new CPU's including their new A-series APU's and X series Athlons. So you could get a X4 950 and then upgrade to a Zen SR3/5/7.

With AM4 motherboards, in theory they should be cheaper to make sine the SoC is going to be on the Zen CPU as opposed to being on the motherboard. So far all we know is that there is a A/B and X series. A being entry level basic boards (Possible ITX?). B for general usage/gamer. X being gamer/Overclocking/Enthusiast class.

If you go for a Skylake i5, right now. You will not be disappointed. I am still running a first generation i5-760 and it seems like my GPU (GTX750) is holding me back most of the time. This is not to say that it can play every game max @ 60fps but it's holding it's own for a 5+ year old CPU.

Thing is i cant wait till then. So how would the x4 880 fit in wih the rest of the setup and i dont have the budget for n 9590 atm as its my insurance paying for it.

How well will it pair with the RX 480 red devil 8gb?

I should be perfectly fine. Your most likely "bottleneck" will likely be the CPU over, but even then the Skylake i3's are pretty nippy to begin with.
A relatively cheapish Skylake setup will also leave lots of headroom for upgrades.
