Dude I can't quote the exact verse but there are a couple of instances in the Old and New Testament where is states that same sex relationships are repulsive to God. You can Google it if you want the exact verse. That said, it's a massive sin for sure. Which is why I stated that you'll generally find homosexuality amongst people who have reject God and that's also why I'm disgust at gay people in church.

Aside from your views, you can't argue in a debate by making a statement and then expecting the other person to do all the research to disprove you. Ok the ANC debates like that, but still.

Do the research ... it might just open up your eyes against the indoctrination that you've been subjected to all your life. Also keep in mind, your religion states that all sins are equal. It also states that you shall not judge others...so by virtue of relevance, by judging them you are just as much a sinner as you suppose they (and rapists/murderers) are.

Actually, most of us "reject God" because of the following rather interesting facts:

1. We are as how "God" made us
2. We cannot change the way "God" made us
3. Did "God" create us just to be repulsed by us? :p
4. All in all, either God is very confused or the entire concept is bullshit :)
5. The Bible was written by bigots and is more man's perception of God, than actually God's Word

So, by simple deduction that even an ape can do, either fact 4 or 5 is the basic stance on the matter. Since gays experience this first-hand, we have long ago come to realise that bigots such as yourself function very much on the exact same premise of bashing people with red hair, or white skin even though that is how your dear God made them. Damn them to hell!

The way you interpret God and decide to follow certain verses instead of others shows that your personal god is nothing more than a reflection of your personality. Simple, eh? :)

Homosexual people dont reject God, they reject the church.
I find it incredible that people still prescribe to the God as a mean old fart on a throne with a big ass stick waiting to smite you if you so much as fart in an elevator.
If i think of an Almighty God, one who loved humanity enough to sacrifce his only son, I think of the a loving father who always listens, will always give you another chance, who always thinks the best of you and most importably loves you regardless of anything.

By your own admission, then no one is allowed into church!!! Remember, all men are sinners. That is kinda a big statement in the Bible and no one sin is greater than the other, so why do gay people in church disgust you, but say a adulterer not? Or even someone who copies a game or a movie or a song? All equal in sin remember.

Another thing, if I'm gay say (cute hey)(golly gosh, I can't stop the rhyming or the rhythm! :D :p), and I wish to repent and change my ways and go to church, well how now? According to you, it's disgusting for me to enter church, so does that mean I'm forever screwed (figuratively)? I can't do it by myself, so must the good Reverend, Minister, Priest or appropriate religious leader meet me at the Wimpy?

As I said, the Bible says it is not for me or you to judge, only to love and teach others about the word of God and His love for all. Easier said than done, I know, but no one said religion is easy.

Is your head screwed on backwards? I am one to get rid of religion. The world will be a better place with out it. Just my opinion.

Can't stand people who don't accept a person because they are not ideal in societies eyes.

If something harms, chances are pretty good that it's wrong.

If a society advocates slavery, mutilation, slaughter, bigotry, discrimination, witch-hunts, forced marriages, murder, etc then chances are pretty good that there's something kind of screwed up with it.

You don't have to look far to determine what everyone in life wants, which is quite simply just to be allowed to live their lives as they see fit, so long as it doesn't harm anyone else.

All I know is unless you have vast money we are all just slaves. Got to pay taxes and we don't in the long run live a free life.

Money doesn't buy happiness; at most it just buys you a key. At the end of the day, you have to make your own happiness and deal with your own problems. The only real problem that money solves is the lack of money :p

I dunno hey. I reckon with a couple of million $$$, I could be pretty happy. And even if money doesn't make you happy, if does make life easier and a easier life is a happier life!
