USB Ports Not Functioning...

Help! Please!

This is really starting to get on nerves.

A friend of mine recently got a new Acer Extensa Windows 7 Notebook with three blinging USB ports, however, only the one USB port on the side is working and the other two don't seem to be functioning. They don't even appear under Device Manager.

My thinking is that this has something to do with drivers and what what, but I can't think of where to find those or how to put them on. If they are hidden somewhere on the computer then I don't know where they are hidden. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Powder check the bios for those thats not working or else take it back. if its still under warrenty.
 
Bios to be what what? How would I do that? Seriously, my computer literacy is starting to fail.

Don't think they're faulty though as the laptop is new so...

As it starts up press del. Should be an option some were to see if the usb is enabled. I don't know iff hand were that option will be:(
 
Well the one port is working and usually the USB ports on a laptop (especially) are all connected to the same bus, so if one's working the others should be too. I'd take it back - wouldn't even bother with anything else.
