Using RSA Xbox Live cards on a UK account....

If I remember correctly you can use UK Xbox Live cards (membership and points) on RSA accounts, but will it works the other way round?

Got myself a R700 Look & Listen voucher so was thinking that if it would work I might as well buy it some points and a membership there.

The membership cards are universal.
