I've got an aunt that said it's legit, and it works and all that stuff, but I would like some info, because I'm sure it might be a scam of sort, and I'd like to inform her before the time?

No dude, its a full on scam and your aunt is trying to scam you! In fact she isn't even your aunt, she is your parents sister!
