Vavi suspension confirmed by Numsa

Numsa, a strong ally of Zwelinzima Vavi, confirmed on Thursday that the Cosatu general secretary has been suspended, while an official statement from the trade union federation was still awaited.

"He [Vavi] was suspended," National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa) general secretary Irvin Jim said.

"Numsa is feeling very bad about what has happened."

Grim news. I reckon we could see a spilt up of Cosatu in the future which would cause chaos among unions.

Also I wonder how the ANC feels about this, cause I'm sure that they are behind it some how. Vavi causes them to much grief.
