GTX 780 Ti specifications are not yet announced. We will update this post as soon as specifications are confirmed (one way or the other).

All we know for sure is that it’s based on a GK110 and has the same design as GTX 780 and the TITAN. This card has either 2496 CUDA cores 2688 or 2880, most likely the first option though since we are just targeting R9 290X here (although there is a general assumption this is Titan re-branded, at a lower price point)

The other option is that it’s actually a TITAN with 3GB of video memory.

Jen Hsun Huang revealed that GTX 780 Ti will have a low TDP (6+8-pin power connectors) and it will support 3-way SLI.

This new GeForce card will arrive mid-November. Reviewers will get their samples today so we should learn a lot more in few next hours.

Besides the VRAM difference, I don't see the use of a Titan anymore. OC'd the 780 reaches and surpasses Titan performance already.

Hopefully the current 780s will drop in price. Or maybe this will bridge the price gap between the 780 and the Titan.

I have a feeling this card will replace the 780.
The titan will most likely stay, Nvidia are making a crap load of profit on it.

Yeah the Titan has that exclusive feel to it. It would be nice if they dropped the 780s price for this though. Those 780 Lightnings are just itching to join my build.

You should really look at getting R9 290X cards
They aren't just faster than anything in the Nvidia stable they bring some new awesome features.

Well, guess we need to wait and see if the 780s get a price reduction and see what the final price of the R9 290Xs are.

According to another thread in here the R9 290X out performs the 780 in quiet mode

The only benefits from the new R9 series for me would be Mantle support and better performance. I wouldn't touch their TrueAudio feature.

That TrueAudio feature is apparently OMG amazing according to the guys that were at the AMD launch event in Hawaii.
I can't wait to check it out.
