Granted, it out performs land based vehicles and its engineering is a marvel, but against a jet? On the ground? I've seen something similar before and its an extremely stupid comparison. Then you might as well do a top speed comparison.
Our formula 1 car is faster than a jet......on take off

Our favourite Flat Out 2 game at LANs was to take an oval track and one person would be chosen to "run the gauntlet" by racing in the correct direction and everyone else would drive in the opposite direction and try wreck the person running the gauntlet. Trying to complete 10 laps without getting wrecked by a bunch of buses going the wrong direction was quite a challenge and nerve wracking too.
