I'm glad he didn't kill them. Bee populations are too low to do that. I always get annoyed when I see people freaking out because a bee flew in their window. Bee's are the good guys, without them we would be screwed. Wasps though, you can gladly kill those assholes.

Fiberglass (the stuff they pull out of the wall on the video) is not only a good thermal insulator but also one of the best accoustic insulators on the market.
Example: The black things that hang down from the Coke/MTN Dome's roof is accoutic dampers. It's black heavy duty fibre material with a "Think Pink" 50mm (If I remember correctly) pulled in. Also the metalclad walls and bass traps around the Dome's walls on the walls feature fiberglass as well.
