I think the guy who closed the door was the guy who left it open, you can see he has the biggest fright of everyone :D

Not much,if a Mech/Exosuit/APU is going to be used by the military then it needs to be fast,agile and versatile while providing decent protection.
 
I don't mean that specific device, I just mean a mech suit type of thing in general. It doesn't necessarily need to be fast/agile if you are using it in an urban warfare situation where heavy armour may not be appropriate, this thing may be of use. Even for police, have like 3 of these bad boys at a riot may be very useful especially when shit get really bad, could load one of those up with all sorts of pepper pellets, tear gas, rubber bullets, etc.

Even with the suit the pilot would still be at risk should something go wrong, I think the future of urban pacification lies in more unmanned pursuits. The military has seen great sucsess from its predator drone so IMO something like this ( A Drone not a autonomous robot):

is more likely the future than Mech Suits. Though having a human inside will give mech type stuff an edge.
