Going through some old youtube vids I uploaded and found this one of Tribes 2. Damn this game rocked...such a pity they killed the franchise with their selfish and idiotic way of thinking. (dynamix made the first 2 and was then closed down and Irrational Games buggered up the franchise quite well.)
Not my video, was made by a member of the SA community. Original sound was fire starter but YouTube beig youtube, deleted it and I choose this free sound track.
You know you had skill when you could fusor (weapon that shoots explosive discs) someone in mid air with a ~200 ping. (56k dial up)

Yeah I jammed Tribes 2 back in it's day. Nick would have more than likely been the same eh, hasn't changed since UT99.
Wanted to get into Tribes Ascend but wasn't even going to attempt it with a >200ms ping.

I downloaded that vid and played it at work on our new 50" TV....damn, one cool manager walked by and I told him to come look. Looks freaky, kinda makes your head swirl if you follow it closely. Awesome video that.
