I say give them 6 months to a year for massive price drops so much competition coming out even the LG G5 one of he featured accessories was the VR glasses
Not really, as I don't have much of interest in VR at this present time. Still, interesting tech is interesting.
The StarVR is insane... Its got a much wider field of view than all the other headsets... They are trying to take the top of the line VR Headset tag, and are doing so very well in my opinion...
Its going to come down to marketing... Always does. And unfortunately, Facebook will have the upper hand.
Yeah, and looks to be around $800.
Good luck with that one MetalSoup
You say that like I'm the one trying to sell it at that price. :wtf:
A while back I saw a headset that instead of putting two screens in front of your eyes, beams light directly into your retinas. Apparently it gives a much crisper image than monitors. Has anyone else heard of this? I've not been able to find any mention of it again.
Everything you can see beams light directly into your retinas, you'll have to be a bit more specific.![]()
I mean it doesn't use monitors to produce the image that you see. IIRC they used some kind of laser and mirror combination.
That does not sound like a good idea at all.
I'm doing an extremely poor job of explaining what it was. If I find it I'll post it here.
like this?

Some games (Rocksmith comes to mind) beig in the R1000 range is already pricy. If I already sigh about that. VR is only a pipedream
Rocksmith R1000? I bought Rocksmith 2014, with the Realtone cable for PC for R650 fron Takealot around September last year...

This looks pretty awesome and should be terrifying. Also going to have the option of disabling the VR for those of us that can't afford the awesomeness:
Haha thanks, did fix it as soon as I noticed it worked on Tapatalk but not PC[emoji14]FTFY
