Virtual Reality general

This makes me ridiculously hyped up.

Freaking awesome demonstration.

I had Google cardboard, I played with it a few times and stuck it on top of the kitchen cupboard where it gathered dust for over a year.

Got gear vr with my s7 and the experience is still far from perfect but 100 times better.

I am completely hooked on the idea now.

I can tell you that any future gaming equipment I buy will involve vr.

There is nothing so mind blowingly immersive out there.

I really can't wait to see what will be available in 10 years time and I can tell you now this is going to change the way we do everything.

The HTC vive looks awesome! Too bad my pc cant do all these heavy lifting required, and the vive itself cost quite a bit. But at least we are another step closer to sword art online!!! :P

I contacted HTC South Africa and they have confirmed that they will not be bringing in the Vive in the near future.

I want VR!

I wont lie at first i really wasn't that keen on VR but the more exposure i get to ti the more keen i am

Oculus has to pay $500 million to ZeniMax over VR headset, rules court

A US court has ruled that Oculus must pay $500 million to software developers ZeniMax over the VR headset they’ve developed. The jury ruled that Palmer Luckey, who co-founded Oculus after leaving ZeniMax, failed to abide by a non-disclosure agreement he had signed while working for the company. However, the jury also found that neither Oculus nor its founders stole trade secrets. This is all part of a very messy saga that’s been thundering on since 2014 and has seen appearances in court not only of Luckey but also John Carmack and Mark Zuckerberg.
