There have been a recent outburst of keyloggers (machines who see what keys you type and figure out your account details) and virues. On this page talk about software you use to fix this problem or even problems you need a solution to. On this forum please do not give out viruses in links. They will be reported.

Kaspersky - works like a charm. I'm sitting on 133 threats detected and not a single one had any affect on my system that I'm aware of.

I've heard that Microsoft Security Essentials is good. I have micro-trend office scan...and it's absolutely K@K. It gives me false positives, and when I installed a Linux distro on my flash - it thought the autorun.inf file was baaaad...

Anyway, don't really get viruses as I don't visit those dodgy sites...

Yeah, Kaspersy I.S. is a one mile thick titanium shell when it comes to stopping crap from getting on your system.

Honestly I use Forefront and I havn't had any issues whatsoever when it comes to viruses... I tracked down a virus at my last company using my PC from home with forefront on it :p and sure enough it worked like a beauty :D

I prefer to hunt the viruses down manually though, because I know where they are generally located 90% of the time...

Preventing viruses I find that Durex is the best. Never had any issues there.

As for PC related issues, I go with Bitdefender. Does what it must and never had issues.
