We (WAGE) are pleased to announce that we have our share of BFBC2 Vietnam servers online!

The creators of BFBC2 have taken a step back in history. The 1970's, set in the heart of the era of the infamous Cold War, the ideological clash between the two superpowers fighting for control. BFBC2 Vietnam, takes us back to this era. New weapons, vehicles and maps provide a strikingly attractive addition to the consummate game of Battlefield Bad Company 2.

BFBC2 Vietnam immerses the player into the distinctive Vietnam war, with four new multiplayer maps that include fresh visuals. Dense tropical jungle surrounds the American and Viet-Cong, fox-holes and booby traps a common sight. Scorched areas affected by napalm, air strikes and military chaos.

We also see new additions to the weapons list with the M79 Grenade Launcher appearing as well as fourteen other authentic weapons. Vehicles wise, the Russian manufactured main battle tank, the T54 is seen. The whop whop sounds of the Bell Huey are all too familiar with most Vietnam based games and is a classic icon of this time.

Besides all this, the sounds of Creedence Clear water Revival and typical tracks are heard playing throughout the expansion and contribute to the overall experience and atmosphere of the game. Two hours worth of rock and pop are featured. In addition, completely new voice overs for both the Vietnamese and Americans. This provides for a cinematic experience.

Teamwork, strategy, skills and tactics are what it comes down to in the Multiplayer.


  • 5 Brand New Maps: From the rice fields of the Phu Bai Valley to the napalm scorched earth of Hill 137, five distinct Vietnam-based maps each bring a fresh visual and game play experience.
  • 6 Immortalized Vehicles: Skim the treetops in the iconic American helicopter. Drive the sturdy Russian T54 tank and the nimble US PBR "Pibber" patrol boat, plus three more vehicles immortalized in the Vietnam war.
  • 15 Characteristic Weapons: Charge into battle with 15 new weapons modeled on their real life counter-parts, including the rare Navy SEAL XM22 machine gun and the characteristic M79 "Blooper" Grenade Launcher.
  • Rocking 60's Soundtrack: Listen to 8 radio channels in-game, featuring 2 hours of time typical tracks, including "Ride of the Valkyries" and "Fortunate Son" by CCR.
  • True War Dialogue: All-new voice overs for both American and Vietnamese forces, based on authentic communication from the Vietnam War.

WAGE will be making the servers very interesting with fun stuff happening and doing cool things with the community!! :D
 
Its cool that they have an admin, its just funny when the admin asks is there any lag and some guy says yes and the admin is surprised.
 
Indeed, I will probably have a bash at it just now. Looks epic! Our servers are going and we should have our hardcore servers up soon!
 
I've got a feeling there is something wrong, somewhere. I see people throwing mortars all over the place, but in none of my kits I have the mortar strike? Wtf is up with that?

Otherwise, the game is awesome. It's even got a new feel to it. The gameplay is a lot different from BC2. It almost feels like Medal of Honor done right.
