So here's the official petition to convince to release GTA V for PC.
It needs about 456,772 more signatures and counting... Let the mygaming community make their voice heard! :D

Dude this is like from since Rockstar announced ps3 and xbox versions without mentions of pc long ago. And as I've said before this petition means nothing. The game will come out on pc as soon as it favors them from a business pov, meaning when they feel they sold enough units on consoles it will come to pc. It was always like that.

Lyt is completely correct. This is Rockstar with GTA. The petition is worthless, because either the game is going to come to PC or it isn't, and that's completely up to Rockstar to decide. No internet petition is going to influence their decision.
 
Somehow I don't think this petition will affect how fast GTA V will come to pc, if and when it does (although I'm sure they'll claim it was quicker because of the petition). Can someone possibly (not trolling, genuinely interested) point me to an internet petition that actually had a tangible effect to make someone/something change their mind on a certain topic with proof that outside events werent just as much, if not more, of an influence?
 
if it comes to pc one day cool will get it if not cool. PC games is a dead market due to how easy people can download it for free.

Buts its like marrying someones ex-wife after he's bored with her. Doesn't matter that she's had a bit of plastic surgery.
 
Dark Souls was also a case of the company setting a goal (reach these amounts of people in your petition and we'll do it). GTA V is not the case, is it?

Not gonna argue there, just pointing out that there was at least one petition that succeeded. GTA IV was also a pretty bad port - especially at release with that stupid video memory requirement.
 
I'm sure they already have plans for a PC version. I don't think petitions would convince them to release it earlier than either it's ready, or it fits in to their business plan. I'm sure they wait on the PC release because there's more piracy on PC so they want to get as much sales on console as possible before a PC release
