WANTED: ATX Z77 or X79 motherboard, i5 or i7 and cpu cooler

Im in need of the above items for a new setup. I will pay up to R2300 depending on the items and would prefer seller from jhb as I have the cash in hand. I also have some lga775 items that I can trade with.

You need to be realistic R2300 for a i5/i7 + z77 board, not ever gonna happen.

Cost price on a i5 3570k is R1999 exc vat.
Cheapest z77 board is around R1000 and its not a great board.

X79...lol a whole other story.
 
You will definitely need to sell your LGA775 stuff to have enough cash. Go for i5, not i7. You won't see a difference in games, and look for the 'K' after the CPU model number (i3570K). The unlocked multiplier will allow better control for overclocking etc.

As for m/b, AsRock usually offer the best bang for buck. I would suggest a Z77 (LGA1155) board to keep CPU cost down.
