War for the Overworld

I keep checking the steam community page. They release all the info about the patches there.
They are on friggen v1.0.20 already :O
Every time I open steam I think should I, shouldn't I.

You gotta hand it to them, they're scrambling to get this thing patched.

Yeah as I mentioned before... I have to go buy a hat, put it on and then proceed to take my hat off for them.
The honesty and effort put into this is pretty darn awesome.
 
You guys realize you're praising a company for finishing their product after it was released, right?

Better than many other companies do. And after reading their response, it really seems like the best option. They being honest, which is pretty refreshing. That's what everyone is praising. Not everything is black and white.

That's not what we're praising them for. I don't think anyone on this forum had as much anticipation for this game as I did, and I'm obviously severely disappointed with the state it released in. However the developers have acknowledged that it was a big mistake and they're trying to fix it, which is quite admirable in a world where a huge number of Kickstarter and early access games simply get abandoned after "release".

There is no doubt that these guys are very inexperienced, I mean the lead designer is only like 22 years old, but it's also clear that they care a lot about the game and their reputation, and they know if they ever want to make another game they'll have to do their best with this one, otherwise no-one will support them again.
