Heya all,

Has anybody else here laid eye on this game as yet? Played it for a bit this weekend, and its actually a lot of fun and a bit addictive.

For those that played World of Tanks, think along similar lines, except in WW2 airplanes.....and seems they wanna add ground forces in future. Game in in open Beta atm i believe. Its a 5.3gb download, but well worth it!

GFX are pretty sweet as well, and you fly in all sorts of conditions. They have a few different modes, from Arcade to fully realistic combat where wind shear etc comes into play...

Its actually quite addictive ...lol and alot of fun. Especially when you play with mates on comms. You can also adjust the level of realsim you play on from arcade style, to extreme realism for the addicts. With re-enactments of most of the famous war battles ever fought in the air...so some history in there too. :) My mate who got me started on this is pretty addicted, the game gets very competitive...

I just dont have time for it anymore....need more hours in my gaming day....

Time to start my own business, become a millionare so I can play games all day :D
 
It's a very fun game, I've been playing it for about a week now. Just got to USA level 8 the otherday, loving the Kittyhawk and Airacobra :D

I'd recommend that everyone give this a go, it's a change of pace, something fresh.
 
I PLAYED THIS EXCESSIVELY THIS WEEKEND!

Pardon me, that capslock is caused by severe degeneration of my nervous system caused by a lack of sleep. Played this right through the night (and morning) on Friday before going to work on Saturday. TOO addictive! :P

Since I started playing it last Friday or Thursday I can't stop lol super addictive and very fun highly recommended.
 
Busy downloading tonight, should be on tomorrow. Do we have a Mygaming vent/mumble/teamspeak server etc?

Edit: Well thats annoying i am getting appcrash on the launcher and their forums are a bit lean on help. Anyone else experiencing this?

When I play with Sky Dota, I let him carry, ask him abt the Bristleback Veno combo of the other night :p.

FU Sky for getting me almost divorced because of this game. Sky and myself has become quite a team, he flies the heavy fighters and I do the light ones and we hunt them down :p. That is if we do not fly into each other before the battle starts :p

@ Plassie, Unlocked my Kittyhawk last night. That plane rocks.

@ Roomys it works fine, sometimes the servers are just a bit busy..... Add me on Steam Ice cream and we can team up. ryno_ace <--- Steam Name. We can play on mweb or any other TS

Need to figure out how to get a Spitfire that plane is OP

I will try again tonight but i doubt its server load, i tried at 6am this morning and during prime time last night with the same result, i think it might be a nvidia driver problem.

Not sure M8 try verifying your files on steam, and google the error, I run nVidia with no pronblem.

This video is pretty decent! Watched it before playing yesterday and got a bit better at taking down planes, especially those annoying Beaufighters. :D

Spitfires :(.


Has anyone played the historical battles? Omw, it's the best thing ever! You get like 1000XP just for a hit on a plane :O. It's harder to fly as the controls are more "realistic" and you run out of ammo quickly and have to go land at the airfield to re-arm then go back and fight again. The battles last longer and is a lot more intense. Also, if you die, it's over. It's fun as hell. Got about 80 000XP from just playing 4 games of that!

Haha! :D Yeah it's great fun flying in a squad. The only problem with this game is you need a premium account to have squads larger than 2 players.
