Wargaming has acquired Gas Powered Games. This follows Gas Powered closing their widely-covered Kickstarter campaign for Wildman.

How is that worse than never seeing another game from gpg?

well for the fact that most of the original team will get sacked and everything retooled for the way wargaming.net does things

games will only be there in name and nothing else

I highly doubt they would have bought GPG just to take their rather underwhelming IP, that wouldn't make sense. Even then I still don't see how a F2P SupCom game you don't like can be any worse than a SupCom game that doesn't exist.

Also rampant doomsday speculation is often quite far from reality.

so let me put it another way then. if they release a single player campaign and if it is good.

by keeping my expectations low i'll only be suprised when it is good.

I was actually quite interested in Wildman. I hope they continue with it's development.
