Mortal Kombat X's Steam page has revealed the specs needed to run the upcoming fighter on your PC.

NetherRealm's latest take on the series is set to feature new fighting styles and an entirely new story, as well as new and returning characters including the recently announced Ermac. In addition to containing a plethora of characters to brawl as, Nether Realms have also announced a variety of different special editions of the game.

Mortal Kombat X will be released on April 14 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Gonna go with probably not.

Lately recommended, and in some cases minimum, specs have been over-inflated so to speak. I'm sure your CPU will be absolutely fine.

At least they're bringing this one to PC, we won't have to wait years this time. I still haven't played MK9 though.

MK9 was great, but I enjoyef I justice a bit more. Feels like they took every aspect of MK9, polished it, added some new elements and threw it all at the DC Comics universe. The result was amazing though.

I'm kinda over the gore factor of MK and prefer a cleaner fighter these days. Only fighter I'll consider with buckets of blood is a new Samurai Showdown...

I was really interested in MK9 and then they didn't announce a PC version. :/ Needless to say, all my excitement disappeared. I still have a poster from 2011 for the game.

I definitely still want to play MK9 and Injustice, they both looked really good. Maybe Raru will have that R50 Injustice special again :D

I never played MK growing up, it was always Tekken for us. Off topic, but I really hope they bring Tekken 7 to PC. It's running on UE4, I mean really, the amount of effort required to bring it to PC is minimal. Like Injustice and MK9 showed, the sale potential is there.
PC's aren't only used for spreadsheets neh ;)

Injustice regularly sells on GMG for around $5. You should pick it up then. I finished the story mode and ladder stories for most characters. The game is a whole bag of value with so many characters and game modes. STAR labs alone will take you weeks to complete.
 
Yeah, I'm trying to de-digitise my PC games library. I love digital sales as much as the next guy, but it's making me a bit sad that's there's nothing on my self anymore :/ I'm a hands on oke, okay :p

Also all these Steam backups are taking their toll on external's HDD space, give me your DVD's. Also I mean, with installs becoming larger and larger, I don't have the patience to wait for it to download on my slow as molasses line. Common Telkom, give us that 4 mbit/s upgrade :D

Raru were selling physical copies for R50. I didn't realise it was a sale price, should've got it then.

Get a wish list on Raru, they tell you about specials on games on your list. It's a great site with some nice specials.

For the secret santa I got my giftee 2 games for the price of one on steam.

I prefer books and geeky toys on my shelves. Games belong in my digital library. Lucky enough I have a 10Mbps fibre line though... Makes downloading games so much easier!

I just can't get over paying so much for something digital. If I'm paying R500+ for something I better damn well be able to touch it. Plus, new game smell is amazing.

Actually, most of the time new anything smells nice.

Oh, I know. It was just a joke ;) Read the comment in small print. :P

Yeah, the Collectors Edition statue does look really cool. Personally, I'm not interested for spending more money of those things though.
