I pretty much posted the same thing. Sure, if you have paid a premium for a game and there are issues, you are gonna be pissed off.
I am not proud of it, but I got mine on the free side of life. Don't even have a Uplay account!
And that's where I win. I got to play the game, with no Uplay hassles.
And the game is fantastic. Some of the most fun I have had in ages on a "single player" game. It's well acted, challenging in places and super cool with the ways to be a menace to scumbags while trying to stay ahead of the cops. And the baton bashing is fairly cool as well.
