Any1 else having problems redeeming their codes they received with their game?

Mine keeps saying it can't connect to the Ubisoft server.

Yes, I think about everyone on this forum. Everyone's been complaining about it on the internet as well as on here.

Basically, there's a lucky few of us, like myself, that activated my game yesterday before the uPlay servers went down. So I could luckily still play on offline mode. But the rest are not as fortunate :(
 
I managed to redeem all my bonus codes last night and I also redeemed all the extra stuff from the in-game Uplay app. I played for about 2 or 3 hours wiithout any issues like bugs etc. and I also got invaded twice. I'm on PS4 though...

Also played it on PS4 and it ran well, playing on PC now though...bugs aren't bad...but the game has crashed on me twice already...annoying lol
 
I had a bug this morning on PC.

Game crashed on startup so I relaunched the game.

Once I was ingame, my crosshair had disappeared and I wasn't showing up on the map either.

How large is the update if you purchase the game for PC? Just wanna know how fast i can get in the action.
 
This piece of junk still doesn't work - not surprising since there have been no further patches rolled out.

I remain stuck at the disrupt_b64.dll problem which means I can't even get into the game to experience all the wonderful bugs and glitches.

I'm at a point where I don't even want to play it now but I'm angry because it's my hard-earned money down the drain.

I'm ready to make sweeping statements such as: "I will not be supporting Ubisoft in future unless they drop Uplay and all DRM."

I should add that Ubisoft has made no official statements acknowledging problems - a real slap in the face to customers.

And, of course, you're mostly right: it's not. But it's not much better than it was either :mad: :cry:

(Disclaimer: This goes for Heroes VI, Anno 2070 and whatever the last PoS Assassin's Creed was that I bought)

Onto the optimizations...This game is piss poor, one of the worst I've ever played, whether you have R10 000 rig or a R50 000 rig the game stutters, no matter what the settings. Its actually quite disgusting from Ubisoft and Nvidia to release something like this as a completed game. The game needs some serious tweaking/patching/optimizing.
 
I've never had any issues with Uplay whatsoever, except maybe the one time it didn't want to accept my password but a quick reinstall sorted that out. I have a bunch of games on Uplay and have never had any issues with installing, updating or playing any of them. Guess I'm lucky or something when it comes to Uplay. The one thing I prefer of Uplay over Steam is that you can choose not to download an update and play the game in offline mode.

I feel for you guys struggling to get the game running though, it would piss me off something awful as well. It's weird to me that most everyone is complaining about performance on PC when the copy I downloaded over the weekend to test the game out run very smoothly on my PC (much to my surprise). It was on the lowest settings though, which is why I decided to get the PS4 version instead.

Yeah, really sad to hear that you guys are struggling. The game is perfectly playable on my GTX 570, barring the occasional frame rate drop. I did however take the suggested settings on the geforce sight and adjust them slightly downwards until they have had more time to address those issues.
 
Well i installed mine did an update started playing and been playing for 3 hours no issue what so ever besides the 2 guys standing against each other with like a 40cm gap between them but other than that no issues
