Watch the first trailer for the Assassin's Creed movie

Having played all of the AC games in the main series and although the trailer looks good, I'm still wary of game-to-movie adaptations.

Huge Ass. Creed fan and that trailer is generic as fuuuuuuuck! The whole sound design, whispered words "what do you want from me?", Orange and teal colour grade. Its been seen a million times and then comes the foooohkin hiphop soundtrack!??? and its fraykin Kanye fookin West???? What is this The Creed and The Furious???

Flipit man why are they targeting 13 year olds? I can see they have dumbed down one part already...Fassbender is the one in the Animus as well as the Assassin in the genetic memories. fail.

I see the director and DOP are fairly new.

All that being said, I will probably enjoy it:D but know that it could have been much much better, I have said it should be a movie since the first game.
 
Wow whoever decided on that music should be fired. It completely took me out of the trailer. Didn't fit at all. Apart from that, it looks watchable. But the trailer hasn't sold me, but that might just be because it's a very badly put together trailer.
 
Am I the only one that thinks the music fits the trailer? Don't get me wrong, I hate Kanye as much as the next person but I felt it worked really well. Go look at the music trailers for the AC games, this fits in with the approach taken there IMO.

Enticing trailer.

Music seems out of place though. The background tune sounds appropriate but, but the bass drops and lyrics don't really fit... IMO.
