Web Africa Add on the News Page

Not sure if anyone posted about this before, but the Web Africa add on the main news page is really annoying!! The one where Desmond and Mandella start talking about how the internet really change the way we live etc...

I had to close all open tabs in my browser to ascertain where the mumbling came from, so it took a couple of times to narrow it down to the web africa add (on average I have about 10-15 tabs open at any time). I usually have my earphones on because I'm either on Mumble or listening to mp3's, so imagine the annoyance of an unwelcome voice that suddenly invades your space. :wtf:

Anyway, just wanted to share this in case someone else had the same experience.

It happens to me every day...

We do our best to make sure the adverts remain unobtrusive, but this one is cheeky. We've gotta keep Quinton's food dish full somehow (he eats a lot of gaming journo chow each day).

lol, glad to see I'm not the only one. At least I know where it comes from now, so I can kill the sound on there when I'm on that page. If it fills someones food dish, then by all means...

Don't get me wrong, it made me chuckle the first time I saw it. But I am glad I have my sound on silent at work. Otherwise it would be a dead giveaway that I am reading news and not working .
