Yup ... and if you consider that you probably had a couple hundred people nailing that application page at the same time, I'm not surprised that problems popped up. And obviously ... a large margin of people didn't get their foot in the door.

So I wish they'd stop moaning and just go - Well, let's give tomorrow another go.

After all, each day basically sees 30 fewer people trying to get it.
 
Well it works on a first come first serve basis, if your not fast enough - toughies try again :D I believe by friday the guys om Mbb will be tired and gatvol ;P So I stand a better chance each day :D

Grab 30gb local only, split traffic with Pada's app (see MyBB) and force IP to the local Google server. Haven't tested it myself, but it should work. Then those people can youtube all they like.
 
Well I managed to sign up for one, not sure if I'm in though. I will replace my MWEB uncapped with this if I get it since this will future proof me if I ever upgrade to a faster line. ATM 30 GB should be enough and this is not including the extra off peak 100GB.

30GB, just in general is more than enough for me, but to pad my usage a bit I throttle my downloads so they happen mostly between 12 and 6am. I'm sure Crunchyroll will be chewing into my bandwidth a bit as well. And of course, Steam downloads are mostly Freezoned - when it works - so getting my games downloaded and installed isn't any concern either.

I had to laugh at the one guy on myBB who referred to himself as a medium downloader at 250GB+ though.

Steam contributes to the bulk of my downloads which averages around 40GB a month or so. I download the odd anime here and there week to week so that wont eat up too much either. Will be waiting for that email then. :)

Yep. I've been on the 30gb special for about a year now & it easily cover anything one might do short of downloading the entire interwebs.

Only exception was a ~24h gap I think like 3 months ago where it didn't record it correctly. Aside from that and the initial couple of months of configuring it hasn't failed yet afaik.

Hmmm I will get my brother to investigate this. Im just responsible for getting us a good account. The ins and outs of setting it all up is confusing to me :P
 
Ok so they have changed the comp

IMPORTANT NEWS:

To make things easier, we've decided to change things up a bit.
The chances of getting an account are increased even more! We've seen a few guys post up here and PM that don't have access to their PC's during the day or the sign-ups are failing.

So, we're opening up the page today - and keeping it open until Friday. For all the guys that sign-up between this time are put into a draw - which we will randomly generate, mix it up and pick the winners from there.

Well my sign-up yesterday didn't appear to be successful so I will try this. Not liking the fact that it's turned into a competition though. :/

Yup. At least it's fair now and everyone gets an equal opportunity. I wasn't able to enter the first two days so this is a big improvement for me :)
