Even though you guys did not make it to the final, I am proud of your performance in the confed cup. I am not a soccer supporter but I am still proud of you and what you did for SA soccer, go bafana.
 
Yeah they got beatin by a very skillful penalty. Brasil was crapping themselves for 87 minutes.

But we need to take the chances we get. We couldv'e been leading in the second half if our captain had headed the ball down. :(

yeh was a very good game and bafana certainly excelled extremely well against brazil... i reckon if they play as well in the world cup as they did last nite they can go very far :D
 
Spain is top ranked, but they were beaten by the USA in the semi's. Brazil is also right up there with the top ranked teams in the world.
 
That may well be true, but anything can happen on the day. Theres the whole cliché of - who ever wants it the most on the day will win. This might be utter nonsense but in a weird way it could be true.

I agree 100% They have come along way from the beginning of the Confed cup! With this structure moving fwd they go from strength to strength
 
I was surprised last night when my predictions of a 5 or 6 goal hammering of Banana Banana did not take place.
 
I really feel Bafana deserved to win the game against Brazil, but they still exceeded my expectations so kudos to them!
