What about gaming?

I've gotten a few mails encouraging more posting on mygaming for one prize or the other. As much as I really want a PS4 in exchange for a few letters, I could not figure what to post about or on without it having some meaning to me. I'd say I used to live on this forum two/three years ago for the reading then I do not know what happened.

Today, another PS4 prize is listed so I went on again to see if I could slip in a comment on something of interest on another thread. Mmmmm, I must be getting old. I can tell you, last week I threw in my old Crysis disk to start a new mission :-). Yes, I've played through it one hundred times. I only bought Bioshock 1 late last year and playing through that still. Thanks to Steam, I have a library of old and new, some played some not. Bottom line, I feel like the content here on mygaming has passed me somehow. Not sure if it is me that has changed or mygaming has changed or more simply, its easier posting on the gaming forum on the mybroadband site.

So yes, I'm still playing and loving it more than ever. Mygaming, I still visit some links into here and there, but its not one of my homepage sites any more. Is it just me?

Given the vast number of gaming sites out there, I can guarantee it's not just you. ;)

Could you be more specific though? Do you want more gaming-related threads? Almost every new piece of gaming information is announced here.

Gaming is the central uniting theme but its not the sole discussion. Many topics here involve life in general but from the gamers perspective. Though we love games and to discuss them, it would be boring if it was a constant topic.

True, the gaming discussions usually come up when a new game comes out or gets popular. Although I must admit, there's a lot more random discussion going on with the comp.

Me thinks what OP is trying to say in the title is: "Gaming, what can be said about it?"

It would appear that OP is not that interested in talking about game(s).
Maybe a quick glance here and there to catch up on gaming news, but that's the extent of his/her forum involvement.
He/she would rather play games.

Now, a mygaming newsletter tempts the OP with a PS4 if posts where to be generated. Hence the creation of this thread.

Hmm....not sure if OP is complaining that there are too many "game specific" threads...or too few

That could just be it. I went back to check the PC news home page and it looks like the RSS feed on my phone. Most of the links to mygaming are from the mybroadband news feed. I guess, the unique edge might be gone. Previously I did feel visiting the site was a different experience and I wanted to see the take on news here. Puzzle solved then ....!
