What are you listening to (V2.0)

Everyone is freaking out over Mick Gordon's excellent work on the DOOM soundtrack, and here I am still listing to the Wolfenstien one.

It's actually a bit of a re-edit from a previous song in the Wolfenstein series called "New Order" which is the song which plays in the menu to The New Order. Which is pretty cool since Old Blood ends where New Order begins, directly after it.

It was originally a Leonard Cohen song, Cohens is more of a upbeat folk song, despite it's actual allusions to war and loss. Gordorn's version nails it in almost every aspect, somewhat like Johnny Cash's version of Hurt.

While it is not exactly the same, you can hear much of the heavy drumming and the simple rift that is used in the Partisan.

It's Friday, and I woke up in a not so good mood. But never fear, I have 2 songs that is bound to put me back into a very good mood.
